Silicone polymer systems typically combine high temperature resistance with outstanding flexibility. MasterSil 156 does all that and more.
This two part silicone features a lower viscosity and excellent flow, making it ideal for potting and encapsulation. It meets UL94V-0 for flame retardancy, and has both superior thermal conductivity, and electrical insulation. With a convenient one to one mix ratio by weight, it can cure in thickness up to and beyond 1-2 inches. It also has very low shrinkage upon cure. MasterSil156 bonds well to a wide variety of substrates including metals, composites, glass, ceramics and many rubbers and plastics. Due to its flexibility, it resists vibration and shock. It also resists water, humidity and oils.
