Testing Adhesives for Resistance to Hydrochloric Acid

Master Bond offers a range of adhesive systems that feature superior hydrochloric acid resistance. Select epoxy and UV curable compounds were tested by immersing cured castings of material into hydrochloric acid. For over a year these castings were periodically removed from the acid and their weight recorded in order to assess how well each compound withstood continued exposure. Read through to see the data on how our compounds effectively resisted hydrochloric acid.
